Made-up Visitor Thoughts

livingdebThere is some kind of giant meeting of motorcyclists in my city this weekend.
On the way home from the store, we ended up waiting behind one of them who had license plates from New York. He was looking into the construction site in the middle of the intersection near my house.
I imagined him thinking, You do not stick buildings in the middle of the street! You should do like we do and just make your other buildings taller. These Texans can be pretty unbelievably dumb.
(Really the point of this construction is supposed to be updating and repairing our drainage system to make flooding less likely in the future. I don't understand how digging a hole and playing in the hole for months achieves this.)
