Floating Head

I'm afraid I prioritized e-mail and comments over journal writing today. And I'm still not done with those things!

Well, first I went to the dentist where I learned that I need to spend more quality time brushing the back sides of my teeth.

Then at work I went to another meeting and got scheduled for two other meetings later in the week.

My job seems to be turning into the kind of job that has a lot of meetings. In the olden days, my boss would do all the meetings. Then I would have a weekly meeting with my boss. Plus two monthly meetings with campus professional organizations.

But back then I didn't know much, and everything I knew I had learned from my boss. My current boss doesn't know as much as I do on some relevant topics, so I attend as another expert sometimes. Also, my current boss is no longer just in charge of me. He is also in charge of another section. So now he treats me as if I am the head of my section when in the olden days my boss was the head of my section. (It's an odd head indeed that has no underlings).

Then I went to the gym for a body flow class.

Then I started working on my monthly finances, balancing accounts and calculating totals. Not done yet.

Then read some things online and got distracted. And now it's way past bed time. Good night!
