At work, we're getting so paranoid about our system falling apart lately that we misinterpreted somebody's printer problem as an impending meltdown. (See, they got pages from our system with data but without the parts that stay the same from page to page.)

I got to have lunch with a friend.

I went to a retirement party for my boss's boss and learned a bit more about him.

I cleaned up and organized my office a bit more in preparation for the post-renovation move.

I thought about making a presentation on retirement at the next professional development day (conference) for professionals in student affairs on my campus. Whenever people talk about retirement, they mostly just talk about finances, and even then, mostly on the thrills of 401K's with company matching, IRAs, and, if you're lucky, company pensions. That's such a narrow view. I would lead some brainstorming on setting social, creative, intellectual, spiritual, and physical goals for life after retirement, and then have some sort of presentation or discussion of how these are affected by the realities of health and finances.

After work, Robin and I walked to our local roasted chicken cart and got a whole chicken with corn tortillas, hot sauce, and roasted onion. This meal also comes with rice now.

I solved Sudoku puzzles. I'm still not as fast as the "average" person at solving "evil" puzzles from Web Sudoku although I am finally getting close.

I read a lot of a tasteless, negative, but sometimes amusing website.

I started looking at how my finances have been doing since last month.
