Zero Days ... and No Longer Counting

livingdebI'm a retired person. A pensioner. Nothing terrible happened on the last day to prevent that from happening like in so many cop buddy movies.
And I finished everything I wanted to finish, which was not at all a sure thing at the beginning of the week. I did miss this other lady's retirement party I wanted to go to because finishing took an hour longer than I hoped. But it's done. Woo!
Now I just have to remind myself that just because I don't have to work doesn't mean there will never be any problems and I never have to do anything I don't want to do. For example, I should continue making regular visits to my dentist.
Bleh, plenty of time for reminding myself of that kind of stuff later. Meanwhile, I'm off to a craft party.
Next week I'm going back to finish cleaning my desk and finish filing. (These activities don't require all the electronic accesses that will have been cut off by then.) I have to go back anyway to turn in my keys. And I also want to donate my sick leave. And I have a library book due in three weeks.
