Weather Fest Plans

This Saturday the Austin Weatherfest is happening at the history museum. It seems like one of those things that sounds fun but when you get there, all the super-fun stuff is way too crowded to even approach and everything else is quite crowded too. But this is only the second annual weatherfest, so maybe word hasn't gotten around yet so it won't be crowded.
But which things will be the most fun? Which things sound fun but will turn out to be boring, and which things sound boring but will turn out to be fascinating? Which things can I do at other times, and which things are only easily accessible here? (After googling, I've decided to go on the assumption that everything is only easily available to me here.)
Or will it all be boring anyway because my dad already taught me about clouds when I was a kid working on an aviation badge (or was it when I was accompanying him on flights?) and because I've already heard lots about weather safety from school (6th - 12th grade was in Texas)? Or will it be interesting and educational like the earthquake simulator at the Indiana State Park? Ha, more suspense for you, Texpenguin!
Anyone going?
Any opinions (chikuru?)?
Indigo Rose, I'm afraid this won't count as your crazy experience for the year. Not even the flash flood simulator.
