Party Dream

livingdebThe latest "Lie To Me" episode used some virtual reality technology to put a character back in another time and place. And that got into my dream last night.
In my dream, chikuru and raaga123 threw a party in a large room. They told a story of an epic adventure--one guy was wearing the goggles, etc., and the rest of us could see what he was seeing projected on the wall (just like in the show). Suddenly, at a very exciting part, the world was about to flood, the lights went out, and all four walls started showing this alternate reality!
My friend M faked his death right away. I thought to myself, "hey, I haven't talked to M in a while," so I faked my death, too, and landed right next to him. (In real life, I did just see M at a c&r party and got to talk to him for a bit.)
Almost right away some obnoxious girl faked her death right between us, so I went over to the munchie table. It had been ransacked pretty thoroughly, but there were still quite a few tasty morsels left.
