livingdebWoo hoo, I'm richer! My estimated net worth just went up 3%! It's caught up to last year!
Unfortunately it's the kind of rich where I get to pay more property taxes, not the kind of rich where I get to quit my day job: my county's annual property appraisal arrived today.
It's evidence that property values are not plummeting here like in other parts of the country. However, things have changed. Last year my land value supposedly increased by almost 1/3 and the structure value by almost nothing. This year, my land actually did get more valuable to me (because there is now a Home Depot in walking distance), but all the increase in my appraisal was in the structure value.
