Family Time
Apr. 15th, 2009 10:46 pmI got to see my new niece today at the hospital. Very cute of course.
But her little face! She is not happy yet. Her little eyes are squinched shut, her little eyebrows are drawn together, and her poor little face is all frowny. I got to see one eye for several seconds -- it's that baby blue that will probably turn brown.
My mom says she's already said her first "words": "No! Nooo! No!" It really sounded like talking. (And begging.)
My sister looks just a little tired and in just a little pain and can't keep from staring at the baby, which is good for a new mommy. My sister's probably had way too many visitors, so Mom got us all out of there so she could nap while the baby was napping. Then I took Mom to La Madeleine, where she was able to eat fairly kosher for Passover with onion soup and strawberries romanov.
Then Mom got extra strawberries romanov for my sister, who's been feeling left out of other restaurant trips while she's been in labor, etc.
