Slime from the Black Lagoon
May. 9th, 2008 10:55 pmToday's big adventure was trying to clean the rubber non-slip mat from the bathtub. I scrubbed it with a sponge. I scrubbed it with a toothbrush. I used vinegar, which is supposed to kill mold without hurting you or your clothes (the way bleach does). I used baking soda which is supposed to be very exciting to use with vinegar for some reason. Yes, it made a nice sizzling sound. I threw it in the washer with towels. I scrubbed it some more.
The slime lurked in crevices. It cowered beneath suction cups. It was fruitful and multiplied.
The mat looks a lot better, but I wish it looked new again.
I probably used some interesting muscles.
Blog entry of the day - Chikuru's Over My Dead Body, a hypothesis, blackly humorous.
