One More Movie

The movies on my two lists have all been guessed except for one favorite of my imaginary home schooling friend's. I've left a few more clues.

I'm pretty sure that no amount of additional hints are going to help me, as I've never seen the movie. But then, I've never seen about half of your movies. *shrug*

I would assume that the movie "A Gun, A Blonde, A [Whatever]" was purely fictional except that it does sound like a movie cartaufalous would identify.

It's about this guy with some kind of very painful cancer whose new-agey best friend suggests a pain therapy that's basically a form of daydreaming, and he daydreams that he's a PI.

Also, he writes a totally awesome will.
