Most Over-the-Top Couch Award

Today I saw the most over-the-top couch ever:



Note the following characteristics:

* Fabric medallion-looking thing top and center
* Three-D scrolly arms, perfect for cats to hide in
* cord trim
* fringed arm covers
* matching giant tassels
* multiple matching pillows in multiple shapes and fabrics

Actually, I would totally love this if I were a cat.

After I took a picture, the salesman mistakenly thought I liked this couch. I explained the truth. Then he said it was very popular last year and that the colors really grow on you.

Well, the colors aren't over-the-top.

I know, I know. You could have a chocolate themed party and you could let people eat on the couch and if there was a spill you would never know. In fact, spilling would make the couch better because then it would smell like chocolate but you would never find the stain.

Totally excellent plan, though it would work better with milk chocolate than dark chocolate.

We can still do this plan now, though, because we have a chocolate brown leather couch. You might be able to find the stains, but we'd just call it patina. Heh.
