Banana Nut Oatmeal Cookies

Today I tried the recipe for banana oatmeal cookies at Baking Bites. Nic promises they will be banana flavored and crispy on the edges like a delicious oatmeal cookie should be, and this recipe delivers. Even though I changed it slightly--I used half as much salt, 1/2 cup nuts instead of 1 cup chocolate chips (I'll use a whole cup next time), and whole wheat pastry flour instead of all-purpose flour.
My cookies look different. I think I let them brown more, and maybe I shouldn't have left them in the little ball shapes they were in after I scooped them onto the cookie sheet.
