Activities Abound

Things to do this weekend:

* Texas Book Festival - I still don't really get what to do here

* Settlement Home Garage Sale - the best garage sale ever, though not as exciting to me since I discovered Thrift Town and Texas Thrift

* The usual Austin Ballroom Dancers Saturday night dance, at their new location, one hour early this week

* A friend's birthday party

* Eat leftover Halloween candy

And there's an extra hour to do it in.

Fine print: Some or all of these activities may not be available to you. However, I had, work, mall walking, and now party, so I have to go.

That book fair looks awesome! And the participants: Al Gore's daughter, Dick Cheney's wife, Jenna-freaking-Bush, a dollop of Kinky Friedman, Carl Bernstein, it's a political buffet! And then some of my favorite authors, too, like Michael Connelley and Sherman Alexie! Awesome. And it's free! You gotta go to that!
