Yesterday the power was out at LiveJournal and the day before I just forgot to post! Weird.

One day this Note of the Living Deb will become Note of the Dead Deb, but not yet.

Hah! A whole post about not posting!

Most relevant journal entry - I'm Not Dead by Don to Earth, nonagenarian. The last entry he ever posted. (So far.)

Fashion entry of the day - The Rise of the Rise at You Look Fab where we learn that pants more comfortable (to me) are coming back into style. "What I thought was going to be another short lived '80's fashion recurrence is clearly not the case. Rises are rising and we'll need to start adapting the look. The good news is that fashion repetitions are always improved and updated."

How, may I ask, did you stumble upon that post? Do you read Don's post regularly? I'm fascinated by the idea of blog-surfing, though I don't do too much of that myself, in the same way I'm fascinated by the way that a conversation will end up on a quite different topic from one on which it began, like a wader at the beach drifting unintentionally up the shore.

I don't read Don's journal regularly because he doesn't post regularly. But I do have it on my rss feed. For now.

I really have to look more into this RSS feed thing. I should think that to make it useful, one would have to amass a list of things one would want to be fed on. Right?

It's like that list of things on any profile, like on LJ or myspace - those, if not filled out, can make one look really boring. N'est pas?

Boy, that was a digression!! :)

I enjoyed the link to the pants entry. As long as we're talking flat front, below the belly button pants, the hideousness/Mom Jeans quotient is likely to be acceptably low.

Of course, seeing that Kate Moss looks good in a certain style of pants (and they didn't look nearly as high-waisted as the original 80s version - Sienna's was more on target there) is hardly illustrative of how they will look on any kind of near-average human being.
