No Recycling for Me

livingdebEvery week I keep not putting out this big bag of magazines I want to recycle because there's always a chance of rain. Today I finally got it out. And then they didn't pick it up. They picked up everyone else's. Not fair.
We did get it out in time (last night). They just didn't see it somehow. This has happened once or twice before.

Today I was looking at jobs with the city. It turns out there's some kind of agreement I never heard of (since 1991) between not only my retirement system and the state's retirement system, but also various city retirement systems.
So that makes it a no-brainer to add another employer to my list of job sites I will be checking regularly. Today I checked Parks and Recreation and found that of the jobs of interest to me, some are way under me and pay too little for me and some are over me and pay more than I get. So it seems that acceptable jobs may exist.
