I enjoyed this conversation I overheard. I'm not sure why, but I keep laughing whenever I remember it.

"Hey, your house looks great!"

"Thanks. It always looks like this."

"No!"

Who would ever say that? "Thanks. It always looks like this." That just cracks me up.

It was not at all crowded at JCPenney.

I stocked up on a lot of undies. I bought nothing else there.

I did get distracted by possible replacements for my black dangly earrings (one of which I can't find). But some were too small for my tastes, some were too big for my tastes, and some were too sparkly for Robin's tastes (and I didn't love them enough to override his tastes).

However, in another store at the mall (that's also going out of business) I got some amazing bargains. I got a decent-sized mirror (about 1.5 feet by 2 feet) for about $5, with an overly ornate silvery-painted frame which I really like. Yes, Robin hates it, but I'm bringing it to work so I can look at the view out my window without having to actually turn around and look out the window.

I also got a sparkly Victorian-looking business card holder for about $5. I do not need a business card holder. My business cards came in a box, and I have a nice spot in my drawer at work and a jewelry box at home to hold other people's cards. I also have a business card holder at work already, which I use for holding a phone message pad and a yellow sticky pad. But it's so pretty! Like jewelry for your desk!
