Sleepy Updates
Sep. 28th, 2005 10:56 pmToo sleepy to update much.
Everybody's looking forward to the big cold front we're supposed to be having tonight. We already had a cold front a couple of days ago, but it only dropped temperatures a couple of degrees. Tomorrow's high temperature is supposed to be a lovely 82 degrees. And then the lows will actually be dropping below 70 degrees for a while, though highs are expected to drift back to 90 degrees by the weekend.
Despite how adventurous I was yesterday, I'm not so adventurous while having to wear long pants and look professional for work and all. We do have a casual dress code, but pink and sweaty is overdoing it a bit.
In other news, apparently I did not ruin my car and it will cost mere hundreds to get it back into good driving order, including a working AC with a new compressor. The mechanic I've been talking to is so cute. First he was worried that I wanted to bring my car in at 3:00 in the afternoon. This is because he feared that I was hoping they'd be finished the same day. Then he was worried about putting in a compressor because they don't take credit cards. How can anyone just have hundreds of dollars lying around? (Actually my car spending savings isn't quite high enough for me to afford this. Fortunately, I can borrow from my other savings. I love negative numbers--so long as all the numbers still add up to a positive number.)
