Today, my blog buddy delivered three gigantic and delicious cookies he owed me. Although that was several hours ago, I still have part of one left.

Thank you blog buddy! The crunchy one was tasty and not too sweet, just as you promised. The middle cookie was crusty and chocolaty and full of nuts and delicious. The last one is extremely chocolaty and even yummier than the other two.

But I will be getting no more cookies from that blog buddy. That's not because he has suddenly become superhuman and will never slip. It's not because we switched to doughnuts. It's because there is a new arrangement.

See, Chikuru has also become blog buddies with Grieve, so we're going to stop being blog buddies, and I am going to start being blog buddies with Raaga123. Starting tomorrow!

This is a good change because although I will lose one or two days of Chikuru posts per week (I forget the exact arrangement between Grieve and Chikuru, but it does allow for taking Fridays off), I will now get to see a lot more posts from Raaga123! Which is good, because our lunchtimes no longer intersect on a regular basis.

In other news R. had a birthday party today and all kinds of favorite people came, some of whom had not met before. People talked about Argentine tango, glass bead making, weaving, the readability of The Tightwad Gazette, aerial dance, roller derby, being in the position of probably finding a much higher-paying job in a person's new location, kilts, other things I forgot already, and other things I didn't get to hear.

Read more at Empirical Question, including a vague description of a very amusingly themed CD gift in the first paragraph.

Glad I could help!

I forgot to mention that the basic arrangement is 5 posts every 7 days. There is a whole slew of rules that cover what counts, and what exceptions are allowed, blah blah blah, but 5 posts every 7 days describes it pretty well.

I also like that you're using pictures, too.
