My employer requires all employees to take all kinds of little training modules on various topics such as civil rights, sexual harassment, privacy policies, etc. which are all lumped under the name "compliance." HR keeps track of everyone's standing and sends little reminder notes of increasing urgency as you approach and pass renewal dates. These modules are easy to deal with and sometimes even fun.

Recently my boss's boss sent out an e-mail to us letting us know that his boss had just congratulated him because every single person in our office is compliant. So, in turn, my boss's boss thanked all of us for achieving 100% compliance.

Today was the day after my boss's boss's one-year anniversary in his current job, so some people threw him a little surprise celebration at the beginning of one of his weekly meetings. This celebration involved a framed one-year certificate, speeches, and chocolates. It also involved a large (about four inches in diameter) red sticker that said "100% Compliant." Specifically, he was to wear this sticker on his shirt.

It was goofy, hilarious, and well-received. (He stuck it on our community bulletin board the next day.)
