Less Walking
Jun. 14th, 2007 06:47 pmI've decided to stop getting off my bus a few stops early to get in extra exercise. It's not really hot yet, with highs being only in the lower 90s, but adding that extra distance makes me really sweaty and makes me want to take a nap the second I walk in the door. Neither is appropriate at the start of my work day, and when I get home from work I really should put off sleeping until bedtime.
I'll start up again in the fall.
It's funny that in so many parts of the country people can't wait until summer so they can do things outside again. But summer is our worst weather. And while there is no summer equivalent to snowdrifts blocking the way or ice covering sidewalks or anything like that, I still don't want to be disrupting my day like that.
