I've not thought through the issues I've been thinking about lately enough to (even pretend to sort of) write anything coherent. But other people have written lovely coherent things today. Enjoy.

Journal entry of the day: Patrick's NPR Teaches Stuff - fun with language. "His example is one of my favorite Shakespearean quotes ever (or, to use a proper dysphemism, my favorite quote by the closeted, effete Earl of Oxford using a pen name to save his fleurchonned ass from the disfavor of the Queen)."

Challenge of the day: Chikuru's The Veggie Challenge requests simple vegetarian recipes. "I'm especially looking for ones that are easy enough to tempt someone so lazy he thinks an Ensure Plus and a banana make an acceptable meal. Not that such a person exists."
