livingdebI think we've finally got this.
How to get through Bryan on the way from Austin to Livingston
1) Enter on 21.
2) Stay on 21 until you hit 6. Do not follow arrows to Livingston. Do not turn on the first 6 you see; that's Business 6.
3) Turn south on 6. Drive a few miles until you hit 30.
4) Turn east on 30. Continue to Huntsville.
How to get through Bryan on the way from Livingston to Austin.
1) Enter on 30.
2) Go straight until you hit 6. Do not be disturbed when 30 goes off to the left and the road you're on turns into 158. Just doggedly go straight.
3) Turn north on 6. Drive a few miles until you hit 21.
4) Get off at the exit that is clearly marked east 21 and east 190 even though you want to go west. That is also your exit.
5) Turn west on 21. Continue through Caldwell.
All the other switchovers (290/21, 30/190, and 190/59) are much simpler.
