I Can't Go To Bed Until I Write Something
Dec. 19th, 2006 09:29 pmToday I had trouble with the Body Flow class. We're doing the routine in which each segment, which is supposed to be unique, somehow manages to use the thigh muscles.
But today was even rougher than usual and rougher than usual for the killer-quads-of-death-and-groaning routine. Was it because I had last eaten seven hours earlier? It feels like it was because I still haven't finished healing from playing ultimate on Saturday. As if the nuts kept me from aching but didn't actually help with the healing process. If so, it's still worth having the nuts, but I was hoping they were a fantasy magical thing.
Maybe chocolate milk is the real fantasy magical thing.

Today I got to see an e-mail with questions about items on someone's wish list. I told the sender to call it something like "Random questions about nothing in particular." Then I added, "Urgent!" We had a lovely laugh over that.

I got to hear Christmas carols sung in four-part harmony in the stairwell of my building at work. Some office does this for fun every year. I love their singing and I quite like their song choices.
It seems like it should be easy to find a CD with this sort of thing on it, but all I ever find is non-traditional songs or songs sung by famous people. This year I saw some instrumental albums of traditional carols--closer.
