Meet Merle Sneed
Sep. 23rd, 2006 12:28 amRemember that link from my last post? I now hereby recommend the entire blog. Merle Sneed is funny, wise, sarcastic, prolific, and modest. I admit I've read only the front page of entries, but I'm going to start at the beginning and do the whole thing now. I almost never do that.
I just read the latest two entries to R and he insisted that I e-mail him the link.
Latest entry: There Is No Such Thing As Free Pizza - "Two days ago I got an email from the boss telling me that there would be a thank you lunch today in the conference room. Evidently, the big wheels feel that the little people have gone above and beyond and free pizza is their way of expressing their appreciation. I deleted it. My future is in the past."
Penultimate entry: With Apologies to Maslow - "In a nutshell Maslow theorized that it is difficult to get in touch with your inner self if you are living under a bridge and eating out of a dumpster, or something close to that. But, if your survival needs are met or mostly met, you are free to discover you, which in some cases is not such a great discovery."
