It looks like the extremely grand opening is not going to be the only time the museum has fun and odd activities. One article makes it sound like there's some new philosophy that art museums should be more interactive than they have been in the past.

I read another article that said 24,000 people visited the museum. That's not counting all the people who came, saw, and left.

I read another article (written like a long journal entry) that made it look like the place became a little less interactive as the night wore on because people abused their privileges. People were no longer allowed to be in the conference room because they insisted on putting their cups directly on the table instead of using coasters. And people were no longer allowed to gently swing parts of one exhibit after part of it fell down. They were still allowed to stand under the hanging round things in such a way that they looked like halos and get friends to take pictures of their freshly haloed selves. Sounds pretty good to me.
