Cleaner Desk - Now Less Daunting!
Jan. 26th, 2014 11:21 pmToday's thrilling project was to go through everything on my desk. I didn't actually clean my desk properly, but it's a lot more user-friendly. I have:
* organized my receipts
* found a few things (iPod charging cord, check for $50, good pens and erasers, insurance card that goes in the car)
* reduced my in-box pile to only barely taller than the in-box
* filed a few things
* put a few other things away
* got rid of some trash and recycling
* dusted my desk and the things on it
I've been putting this off forever, so I told myself to just go through everything and take care of the easy stuff. The not-so-easy stuff now feels less daunting.
In other news it's been a day full of delicious foods. I had scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and perfectly-cooked hash browns from Cafe Java for brunch. Then I cooked some pasta and added pesto for dinner. Last time I tried this I wasn't impressed and decided I prefer my pesto to be on toast. But this time I just kept eating and eating. Yum!
