Someone at work pointed out that technically, the wording of Proposition 2 will outlaw legal marriage in all forms -- after all, a union between one man and one woman is identical to a union between one man and one woman.
I'll vote against it, of course, but not without a wistful image of someone taking that to court. ;-)
