"Do not fall for this again."

That's a note I left for myself next to the account information for one of my utilities. What happened is I read that online payment is now available, so I tried it, it appeared to work, but I never actually double-checked my checking account, the utilities company never got my money and they charged me a late fee.

Twice.

However, I recently let my bills slip too long for a mailed payment to get there on time, so I tried the online method again. This has now worked perfectly for two months on both my electricity/water/trash and my gas.
