Off to Florida

Don't be expecting updates for the next week. Robin and I are visiting his aunt and uncle in Florida.

I have met them and like them and am looking forward to seeing them on their home turf, where I have never been before. I have heard about it before, though. Interesting things. Like that they had decided that dishwashers didn't really cost more than bottom cabinets, so they installed three when they were building their kitchen. They have a whole system for using them, which I have not been able to figure out, and so I am looking forward to learning about that.

I will also get to see the second floor porch that got filled with sand by a tidal wave during a recent hurricane season.

I don't know what the internet or time situation will be, so I won't be promising updates.

I can tell you what's happening next, though. We pack. Then we go to a two-step class. Then we drive to Houston. Because flights that are not direct are evil! Especially when you check your luggage. Which we want to because our containers of toiletries are larger than three ounces.

Then sleep (hotel already reserved). Then eat at Cafe Artiste.

After that, it's mostly travel. We'll spend half the day (or more?) in the airport and on the plane. Then get picked up (wow! yea!) and spend a long while in the car. And then we will be at the mysterious abode of three dishwashers!
