R: "What do you want to do for your birthday on Saturday?"
me: "Sleep."
R: "But is there a special activity you would like to do?"
me: "Cuddle." (long pause) "You might want to ask me again later when I'm in a different frame of mind."

After learning a few things, he told his sister he could probably eat pretty well on a dollar a day. This is what happens when you let your sister goad you.
From day 1: "I made two significant discoveries during dinner: 1) Not only do I not really enjoy cooking, I don’t know how to cook. It would have been good for me to consider this fact before I decided to do this. 2) I am not very partial to Pork and Beans.
