Today's mail was awesome. We received the following:
1) The glasses I had ordered from Zenni Optical. They work! They fit! They look fine, almost disappearing on my face. Oh, it's so nice to have glasses again.
2) A $25 check I got for cashing in some of my points from a rewards credit card. At first I wasn't sure a rewards credit card was a good idea for me because I missed the payment deadline and had to pay a huge late fee. Twice! But I have a system now. (At the end of each month, I check and make sure that I have paid everything off. It works just as well as checking my work after finishing a math test.)
3) Junk mail from ING Direct offering me a $25 bonus if I open a checking account with them by September 30 and use the debit card 3 times within the first 45 days. I'm not going to go for it because I already have a checking account I like, but as junk mail goes, this is pretty nice.
That's all the mail. It was all good. And it was all for me! Me! Me!
