Things I don't understand:
* Short-sleeved sweaters (Especially now that I've worn one dancing. Hey, it was clean.)
* Short-sleeved suit jackets (Actually, I might understand these midsummer, during interviews.)
* Three-quarter-length-sleeved overcoats
Until now. See, it turns out you are supposed to wear them with opera gloves.
I always wondered, do you wear these when you are hot or cold? And now I know the answer is cold. It all makes perfect sense.
Apparently opera gloves are expensive (see comments to entry above). So I will have to make some myself. Finally a use for my favorite holey knee socks! I think fingerless opera gloves will be easiest.
