I really, really need to do something aerobic during the week if I'm going to be able to do ultimate properly. By "properly" I mean "less like a zombie." And by "doing something aerobic," I mean for at least 20 minutes straight, and it should probably be jogging. And I really should practice throwing with R. so I can get better at that.

Today people were not throwing to me, and I am no longer patient about that. By not throwing to me, I mean I got thrown to twice. Also, a new female player decided she always needed to guard me. Stupid league training. I didn't have the heart to tell her to bug off. She's not the best player on the field, but she's plenty good and worse than that, she follows me on all my cuts, making them much less motivating to do.

I don't have any idea when I would actually do this jogging and throwing, so that means it's not going to happen. It only takes 20 stinking minutes, though, I have no excuse. Except then after the 20 minutes I have to take a shower and change clothes. Well, I need to focus on finding some times.

Yesterday I walked to the library, returned my very overdue book, and paid my fine. I have this attitude that paying library fines isn't so bad because I'm supporting the library. I need to snap out of that. If I want to support the library, I should do that directly, but I need to pay attention to due dates and stay on the ball.

The librarian made me show her my ID because they want to update our contact information annually. She said, "Okay, your card is good for another year." I replied, "Let's see if I'm good for a year." And I'm so optimistic that I checked out a book. On Arkansas.

On the way home I stopped at the local dollar store and got some mango nectar. I got charged tax on it, though, which implies it's really sugar water. I had checked the ingredients, and there was water, concentrated mango juice and sugar. So then I checked the vitamin C content and there was loads of it, but later I realized that there was added vitamin C, too. Oops.

I tried mixing it half and half with yogurt to see if I'd get mango lassi. No, I don't. It turns out you need actual mangoes ("mango pulp") for that. Oh well, the plain nectar is good and tastes like real fruit juice.

Last night at ballroom dance time, I had one of those headaches that are so bad that I feel nauseated. I took two ibuprofen and drank plenty of water and had some supper, because I thought it might be from being dehydrated or not eating enough. The headache went away fairly soon after we arrived. Still, I was not at my best, and I actually did some steps I'd never done before (which happens when you're a follower).

I've been good at getting more sleep and more sunscreen lately. Now with more fluids and more aerobics and more library visits I may become less like a zombie in the future.
