Sleeping and Eating
Feb. 11th, 2007 11:39 pmThis morning we almost got up in time to try the 10:00 ultimate frisbee pick-up game. We got up and had breakfast and realized we just couldn't make it at a reasonable time.
I web-surfed until noon and then I was cold so I went to bed to read. But I ended up sleeping all afternoon. So did R.
Then we went to a Cuban/Caribbean restaurant in Pflugerville R. was just introduced to, Cafe Mangu. Not my kind of place--too many big hunks of meat.
Then we came home and watched the second disk of the TV show "Homicide" (I forget the subtitle - "Life on the Streets" or something, but mostly things happen in the office).
That's when R. started feeling the symptoms of a new flu. I tried not to be too gleeful that it was his turn to be cold. The poor shivering thing.
Don't worry, he's okay now. We've got all the modern conveniences, and we're using them: heat, aspirin, covers. I'm ready for more sleeping myself.
Goodnight.
