Ways to Meet People
Sep. 9th, 2006 02:32 pmI learned two new ways to meet people yesterday.
The first way I learned is to leave your keys on the floor next to one of the machines at the gym. Then when a hot babe is using the machine, retrieve your keys. (The guy who did this didn't actually take the opportunity to meet us, he just apologized.)
The second way I learned is to stand around with your friend staring at and talking about a car in the parking lot until the car owner arrives and asks what you're doing. (Admiring his awesome parking job. He had parked about 1/8 of an inch behind the car in front of him, which was partly in his space. We also did not actually take the opportunity to meet this guy.)
Neither of these methods is as audacious as the way I learned from my first college roommate at the beginning of my freshman year: Look out your fourth-story dorm window until a cute guy walks by. Then "accidentally" knock the screen out of the window in his general direction. (The guy in question actually offered to bring the screen up and then did. Score!)
