Second Interview

I got called today by the person setting up interview #2 (and interview #3). Woo hoo! It is expected that these will occur sometime in the middle of next week.

That means I'm going to get a lot more questions. I'm not sure I've actually been in second (or third) interviews. Same kind of questions? I feel like everything's been covered already. I guess this is like when the other cop comes in and asks you all the same questions again.

I've still heard nothing from my other job, and I haven't taken any initiative either. I'm hoping I can make cookies for my old instructor, who really wanted me to work for him, as a consolation prize. But I don't want to do anything so final unless/until I get a job offer, and it's still between me and one other person.

Usually second/third/seventh interviews are with different people, who ask very similar questions. The more interviews you have, the more it's a matter of "fit."

Thanks for the info. My other friends have also said that by this point it's a matter of fit.

I found out the other interviews are next Wednesday afternoon and which six people will be involved, which is very polite of them!

Yeah, having just gone through a seven interview process, it's basically a bunch of people who have slightly different agendas, all asking mostly the same questions, except sometimes with a different emphasis. You'll be fine!

Ugh, interview questions!

I liked having a good list of my own questions that showed my general knowledge of the job, so I'm going to do some research and try to think of some more of those.
