That apartment reminded me of every apartment I've ever lived in up until I bought the house. Hand-me-downs, things in piles, crooked pictures.

At least she didn't paint her kitchen midnight blue and papays yellow. (Though I still think that was a really cool color combination, even if everyone who ever saw it thought it was awful).
