I collect hobbies, which means I also collect hobby tools and supplies. When I moved, I gave away a ton of supplies for hobbies I don't do much of anymore (some beads, scrapbooking paper, yarn, etc). I kept pretty much all of my tools though (except duplicates), as tools are usually expensive to replace and might have use beyond one hobby. I also kept any supplies that are rare or particularly awesome. This seems like a reasonable approach, until you realize just. how. many. hobbies I've collected... So much stuff!
