Personally, I am not a big fan of fruit. If I am going to eat carbohydrates, I prefer grains (hearty muffins and the like are part of my daily intake... with butter and some jam, sometimes cheese). And cookies :-) But everything in moderation! I eat cheese, nuts, dairy products, and eggs. Only a few times a week do I eat small amounts of meat. As for veggies, I try to eat a huge helping at lunch. I find that I *want* to eat them then, but in the evening, I don't want to fill up on them, preferring to eat other things. Once I've hit my vegetable quota at lunch, I don't feel that my other choices are so bad.
