Many (most?) people feel that way. I'm pretty sure, however, that I can think of things to do that are more fun than what my boss thinks up. I probably still need some kind of schedule, and I could make a new one by filling up my time with classes and volunteer hours and maybe even part-time hours, or it could be totally self-imposed like 8-9 is housework time, 9-10 is cooking time, 10-11 is exercise time, etc.
It's good to save some money because I heard a statistic that a shocking percentage of people (1/3?) end up retiring before they want to either because of health issues or because they get laid off and can't find another job.
