Food: Storage, Eating, and Name Inspiration
I had lots of time to cook yesterday, so I did. It wasn't the best timing, though.
First, there's the storage issue. We have lots of leftovers in the fridge. Robin had a lot of time for cooking on Saturday, so he did, and all that food is in the fridge, too. There wasn't really much room left, and none of it was easily accessible.
Then there's the eating issue. I seem to be spending a lot of my fabulous time off being sociable in ways that involve eating elsewhere. So it may actually take me a while to get around to eating this food.
Meanwhile, whenever I do get a little hungry, I can easily have pancakes or fried rice. Instead of chocolate or cookies. (Actually, I already finished the big plate of cookies I got. Mmm.)
Originally I had thought I would eat only my own cooking during my vacation. Ha! I had also thought I would start up jogging again. I have actually done the latter. And I haven't gone for just one jog like I usually do when I start up again, but three! Which means I no longer have to ache that much the day after a jog. Yea!
In other news, we like to give my pregnant sister's baby a new name each week, inspired in some way by its current size. This week he's the size of an ear of corn, which makes my sister think of that episode of "The Tick" with all the corn. So, this week her baby has the perfect name for a fetus: El Seed.
