The laundry prices were comparable to other laundramats. I think driers were even free on Sunday morning for a while. There was a gym fee. You could pay by the day or by the month. They didn't have many machines though, maybe eight? I decided it wasn't worth the money to use the gym. But they always had workers there, so they had the place clean and you could get change and ask questions, etc.
I haven't actually used the place in probably a decade, so I may be remembering things wrong. Googling showed me Austin Unique (http://www.austinunique.com/about.htm) which says they closed in the late 1990s and spawned their whole web site, which looks interesting.
